Same here, bought something online from , credit card got hacked, they bought stuff. I have all text & email alerts turned on now for all my credit cards.
I ordered some oil from by Christmas, My credit card got hacked and someone ordered a laptop and a cell phone.😡
Same here. They got into my walmart.com account which they do not offer 2FA. Just happened to see the email of the PS4 ready for pickup in Tampa. 1500 miles away. Just make sure you do not let save your CC info. No 2FA leaves you wide open.
I talk to credit card security departments and when you find unauthorized charges on your credit card, typically a small-time merchant was hacked and they only use your card info about a year after the hack. So hasn't been in the news, so I doubt has been hacked. getting hacked is more of a likely source, also Capital One is the most egregious hack CC hack. Equifax is also a possible source.They may have ALL of your credit cards through the Equifax hack, so expect more unauthorized charges on other cards sooner or later.
