No mention of genuine leather uppers. I had a pair of Rockports with "pleather" uppers. They dried and cracked before the sole wore out. That being said, they lasted a few years. I've owned other Rockports, had positive experience, and still have a favorable opinion on them. Great quality comfy shoes, but get something with animal hide.
These are comfortable shoes. In general, you should put a good shoe cream on them every so often for my daily wear shoes, I usually do it every other Friday -- they stay looking good and last longer.
