I bought this a few days ago. Just arrived yesterday. I was expecting it to work ok but I was actually surprised how well it sharpened my knives. You pull it through each slot 3-5 times and that's it. Really simple but really effective.

For a quick sharpening job, this type will work. But you should get a Whetstone to sharpen your knives.
