    I feel like this hardware would be good for a Chromebook. Not sure I'd want to run Windows on it.

    Intel Pentium Silver N5000 is a line of processor designed for low cost production but also high efficency in terms of battery life. N5000 is faster than some of core i3 processors that are out there. People think the processor is too slow for windows and such but this computer is more than fast enough to run basic computing. It's fast enough to run 4k videos on youtube after all.

    I have an Asus 11.6 inch laptop that uses an Intel Atom Z3735F @ 1.3 Ghz, 2 GB of Ram and 32 GB of eMMC memory that I got for $150 3 or 4 years ago for $150 on sale at Best Buy. It runs Windows 8 32 bit fine and I can have two browsers open which ten or more tabs open between them with no problems. The CPU benchmark for the Z3735F is 908.

    This one has 4 GB of ram and 64 GB of eMMC and the N5000 CPU at 1.1 Ghz benchmarks at 2448 so is almost 3 times faster. I ordered one yesterday and picked it up today.
