I've outgrown my taste for Mad's humor, but I really did enjoy it when I was younger. I remember one issue was made to look just like a composition notebook so you could take it to class under disguise. Even better, someone sent a letter from Australia with only a picture of Alfred for an address; it got to the New York Mad Magazine headquarters.
Yep....was way better back then. You can download free archives of the older issues in comic format (https://getcomics.info/) and read them with an app like Comic Zeal.
I've been collecting and reading Mad Magazine since the 1970's. I just signed up for another 3 years. I love it. Still witty and still funny. And their jokes about Trump, his circle, and family, are all truly hilarious.
"Can't wait until make fun of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on a regular basis... On second thought, don't count on it..." I'm sure they would if her IQ was as low as Trump's. Trump has proven, time and time again, to be too easy to make fun of. He's become an easy punch line. I mean, for God's sake, the adulterer couldn't even pronounce a 3 syllable word like "origins".
Intelligence has never been a prerequisite to be a successful dictator. A ruthless, criminal lust for power is a more desirable character trait, and Trump seems to have that one covered.

People who have lost their taste for Mad might just be Trumpites who aren't used to the spot-on humor hitting so close to home.
Thank you!
