I'm trying to decide if this is a time to vest money for this or wait for like August and see how AMD does with Navi. $/Perf on this isn't excellent especially now that the GTX 1610 has it by 5-6%, although that works the premise that you can find good basic generic dual fans <$220, though most at that price are already working $10 rebates.
While most hang on these as 1080p cards either are plenty and pricy if that's all you want. I see them as being tasked primarily for "above entry" for 1440p for those aspiring to upgrade a monitor soon. Judging from that perspective neither are out-shining the other.
