Amazon's IMDb has launched Freedive, a new free movie and TV streaming service, currently available on IMDb and Amazon Fire TV devices. A mobile app is coming soon.

The catalog is mostly older movies and shows like Drive, The Last Samurai, The Illusionist, Fringe, Duck Dynasty and Kitchen Nightmares. Also Muppets in Space. Don't forget Muppets in Space!

No, Freedive is a standalone streaming service currently only available through IMDb or
Amazon
Fire TV. VUDU and the Roku Channel also have a lot of free movies.

There's quite a few fun ones in there. I saw Lexx in the list of shows...I loved torturing my poor mother in law with that show. It features as much skin as the old SciFi channel could get away with.
