The deal is probably the 1-month of YouTube TV service (think competitor to DirecTV Now, Sling, PS Vue, etc.) since the standard free trial is only 5 days.
I would go for the Mi Box S instead. Same price but a full Android platform rather than the Ruku limited echo system.
I don't know I really like the Roku Ultra. It can play Video which the Mi Box can't. The interface and remote are great too. I also have a Chromecast hooked to the same TV. That's a good combo.
Roku has more channels than all the other Streaming Internet TV consoles COMBINED! There's enough FREE FULL MOVIES on YouTube that you don't need to pay for anything else except maybe to share a Netflix account with someone for an occasional blockbuster movie.
