I find this an argument that happens often. Though, If you live outside of a "big" city. Most likely your internet is under 100Mbs down and far less than 100Mbs up. Best internet I can get in my area is 100Mbs down and less than 15Mbs up.
Well it is more than just your internet speed coming into your home. This is just a 10/100 switch. A gb switch can improve your speed computer to computer or computer to a NAS box. Most fairly new computers have a 1gb NIC card installed. Have to match to your needs or goals for intra-net speed.
I understand all of that @Aditchdoctor andย @Who_I_Am. What I am saying is the person buying this type of unit either doesn't care (like me) or couldn't tell you if Mb and Gb are abbreviations or part of the periodic table.

๐๐ to counter those two down thumbs.
NP, IWJ. Just keep the deals coming. It's fun to look, assess and post. Merry Xmas, my Ben's friends! It's a 10/100??? Who's gonna... never mind. But I have to agree with #4, Merry Christmas to those who celebrate Christmas! (I read an article the other day some people complained about the greetings as they are not christians.). For others, enjoy the "holidays" or whatever you want to enjoy!

Could just be that your router's stock firmware doesn't support QOS and you want a cheap/easy way to keep the kids from hogging all teh bandwidthz.
Thank you!
