Non removable batteries = bad deal. Batteries should always be replaceable is devices like this. The batteries always wear out long before the device itself

According to the Sennheiser website, these have lithium ion batteries. How soon, exactly, do you expect them to wear out?
I used to get annoyed at devices with non-removable batteries, and still do to some extent because I like to be able to swap in fresh cells instead of waiting for USB charging.
However I could appreciate the weight and space savings on headphones, and have pretty much just accepted the fact that I'm going to have to pry, unscrew, desolder, and put new batteries in things.
What concerns me more is accumulating more and more devices that could end up forgotten in a closet somewhere with a battery that has the capability of bursting into flames. I started making a list of everything I have that has a Li-Ion battery in it, removable or not.

Thank you!
