I think this is a must have on any house now. Super easy to install, works with alexa and google home. Just tell them to make it warmer or cooler and there you go! At this price, plus possible rebates from your local electricity provider, this is a steal!

Thanks for reminding me! I totally forgot about the utility rebate too. I just couldn't resist at this price!
Be careful before jumping on this deal. Make sure it's compatible with your system. It requires a 12V wire from the HVAC unit. My current Honeywell digital thermostat uses batteries, it replaced an old analog thermostat. My system doesn't have the 12V wire to power the learning thermostats. There's a trick where you can re-purpose one of the wires by re-wiring the connection, but you lose the functionality of that wire (e.g. ability to control the HVAC fan). Otherwise you can run a separate 12V power supply but then it starts to get messy. Not impossible, but just be aware of what you're in for. Check youtube. https://nest.com/widget/thermostat-compatibility/
My local electricity supplier has this, in your choice of 7 colors, for $129 shipped. (Xcel Energy-CO, MI, NM, MN, ND, SD, TX, WI) You have to be a customer to login and order. Their website says you'll also get a $50 bill credit if you register the thermostat, plus an annual $25 bill credit.
Good deal on a good product. I love mine. I have echo dots in my more frequented rooms also. so if I am uncomfortable, I just ask Alexa to raise or lower the heat accordingly.
fredfrugal that would be 24V not 12V, I was a fan of these till my neighbors Nest 3Rd Gen malfunctioned & started turning on the A/C in the heating mode good way to to lose the A/C compressor, needless to say he lost the Nest & got a Honeywell.
UPDATE: My local showed two in stock, so I jumped on it quick and got my order in. A little while later I get an email stating its out of stock but to check a nearby store or get free shipping. I check the stores and it's still showing in stock but I can't get it there. ????
I had to pick free shipping option but it looks like it won't get here until next week. :(
I guess that's better than them just cancelling the order, however I'm not considering it a done deal until I get the tracking number.
Might jump on the Ecobee deal instead. Yes, it is more but comes with two room sensors and the sensor on the Ecobee seem to be MUCH better than the Nest sensors.
Friend of mine got the thermostat E and it started acting up because of the 24v problem. I looked into other smart thermostats and the 24v c-wire problem kept me at bay. I'll stick to the dumb thermostat I have now. I even tried the honewell ones and had the same problem.
