Anyone know if these can be (safely) used on a Ryobi angle grinder that suggests not using it for cutting? (A fact of which I'm pretty disappointed if that's really the case!)
These Dewalt cutting discs will not work with a disc/angle grinder that uses grinding/cutting discs that have a small h*u*m*p in the center of the disc itself.
This is the disc grinder that I have - https://www.amazon.com/Hitachi-G12SR4-6-2-Amp-Grinder-Abrasive/dp/B0199MMA84 - which, by the way, is a GREAT deal at $41.99 - $1.37 = $40.62. A few months ago, I paid $40 (plus sales tax) at my local Lowe's. It does come with a hardshell case and 5 "grinding" discs. I've used these thick discs to cut, too, so I'm VERY pleased with my purchase.
Cyberwolf, if a cutting/cut-off wheel fits your Ryobi angle grinder, then I'd use it for cutting. Be mindful of the grinder's amperage which may limit the duration of a cutting task/session. If the tool becomes warm while using it, let it cool off before continuing your cutting job.

Thank you!
