I was never hook on the idea of 8Gb for a RX570... To me it was a good 1080p card with just 4Gb. While there are a few titles that that might pull from the extra 4Gb, it's still a question of memory clock and total throughput that reins in the 570. This card has a memory clock of 1700Mhz while a RX580 will have 2000Mhz, and it that extra memory clock more than the extra chip that pushes a Polaris ahead. while only bumping the effective throughput 1000 MHz, that's as good as OC'n. Some find that just sliding the Power-limit up and then upping the memory clock provides as good of gains as messing with GPU clock while not seeing TDP jump.
For me getting this with the extra memory and working a crazy high rebate vs. the 4Gb model for $150 with little to no rebate is better place if all you are looking for is strong 1080p for 97% of titles and working on a budget.
