This is a great universal remote. All most people need and fits nicely in the hand. BUT the buttons wear out after years of use so at this price I may buy a backup.
I use 2 of these for 2 different TVs in my house. They work as advertised but reset easily if dropped. Definitely the best $24 universal remote money can buy.
I grabbed one of these last year for $35 (refurb). It's been great, it controls my Roku Ultra, Sony receiver, & tv's. It came with a micro usb cable, & 2 Eneloop Batteries.
The buttons do wear out but it takes literally years. The 'down' button got killed on my first one by scrolling Netflix, but luckily it comes with two of those.
Can this replace a roku remote? My roku remote is pure garbage and never seems to work. I use the app on my phone, but it's tiresome. I have the Roku Ultra & it works with that, but it has to have line of sight, so I have my Ultra sitting under my TV. I don't think it works with the Roku stick, the remote doesn't have bluetooth. If your Roku can accept IR it will work.
