As stated, it is a 2016 model. I've helped friends with the 120gb & 240gb versions and have had good success with the CS1311. In the documentation, It comes with a license key (and download link) to Acronis, but can't recall if it's the full or slim version (like WD & Seagate drives have).
Last time I purchased the 240gb, I recall paying around $50...but that was before all of the memory chip price hikes & shortages. The price seems a bit high considering it's a 2016 model, but it is a good product.
