    The run down for those who don't use freedompop.

    It's $9.99 with free shipping and no tax. However, it's really $15 if you want to use the phone for free.

    You buy it for $9.99, and then you downgrade both the service and plan. But, they need a $5.00 balance on your account to have the free plan.

    Total price = 14.99 with free plan. Still a great deal. I bought one for my classroom.

    I use these $10-20 phones as my workout device. You simply can't find device that plays MP3, has bluetooth, WIFI and GPS, an HD touchscreen and access to the Google Play Store for anywhere near that price.

    Whoa, so cheap. Pretty soon you'll find these as the "free" toy in the bottom of boxes of cereal.

    How can they afford to give these away so cheap? The Five Eyes (FVEY) clandestine government spy agencies must be subsidizing these wireless bugs. That's the only explanation I can come up with.
