If you choose to receive a bike via the shipping method, you'll be responsible for the assembly & setup. Some, but not all, folks are experienced enough with tools to do this themselves. However, since most, if not all, Dicks locations have an in-house bike shop. If you buy a bike in a Dicks store or online, then the in-store shop will assemble & setup the bike for no charge. Generally, your LBS (local bike shop) would charge $50-100 to perform this task, if you can't do it yourself!
