I wonder if they require a monthly outbound call each month for this plan, like they do for their free service in order to keep your number and account active. Glad I never give out my number, as it may change if I miss the window.

I don't care ho light a user you are, you will definitely use up the voice/sms/data allotment well before the 1 year mark.
