4k with pixel shifting, new technology so not sure if I trust the dmd in a refurbished unit. MSRP is $2000, not 2999. it released for 2 grand a year ago.
it's on sale for less than that brand new now, so if you don't wanna wait a couple months for the new version (which is 1500 and just announced last week) then spend some more and buy new...otherwise, wait until the new one comes out. wait for sales on this one. and compare quality between the two.
but whatever you do, don't spend 1500 on a refurbished unit.
