If these tools used brushless motors, maybe a good deal. But they are not brushless. The Ryobi 7-piece Li-Ion kit was $150 a few days ago, seems like a much bigger bang for your buck if you want tools that won't last more than a few years of heavy use.
^?? I'd rather have brushed Milwaukee than brushless Ryobi if the price was the same. While Ryobi tools have improved a lot over the last few generations, Milwaukee is still a better grade of tool and brushless usually means shorter lifespan not longer because it's a lot cheaper and easier to replace brushes than the motor controller. Otherwise they both have the same parts that can fail.
Brushless doesn't even have the great "must have" advantages that many assume. Little longer battery life and torque (all else equal) but tool torque and battery life have increased so much in recent years that it's more marketing than real world need.
Man! I got the M12 set for 199 a couple of weeks ago. I wish this was available. I really hate the brushed/brushless motor argument. Unless you work in construction or a similar field, who cares!
