They are a little laggy at times, but they work pretty well. I prefer the chrome cast, but these work great for "older" people who need a basic gui.

Writing 2016 it is confusing because I needed to search online to find out if this the latest generation. It is the latest generation of Fire TV stick.

I have 2 of these and a firetv 4K. Price is definitely worth it... slap on kodi and you are good to go

IMO, these work great for Kodi (yes, I actually have my own library of media) but they are also good on their own as content aggregation tools. Alexa is either a positive or negative depending on your stance but it can be convenient when you see an Alexa-only special deal you want to take advantage of. At $25, these make great gifts or "entertainment centers" for that spare room when guests come over.
