Watch it with these inflatable kayaks. I've tried a few now and all of them are absolutely terrible if there is any kind of current on a lake. It's very easy to get stranded. Much better to get a rigid regular kayak.

I have this, decent option if transporting a rigid is a problem. With two occupants and the skeg attached it seems much more steerable than a few other brands.
