For those who are trying to get these for your Sig Other. Don't. No one likes whiskey stones.

A little dilution is good for a whisky or a whiskey. One ice cube will really open it up. Skip the stones.

As much of a fan as I am of metal, these are cold lumps of nope. I'd sooner get one of those ice globe forms instead, ice does more for scotch than these things will

Honestly I think i prefer a good ice cube over whiskey stones. I had some and they don't stay cold for very long.

I'm with the others. Ice dilutes the whiskey, as it should. The sphere ice forms melt slower, which is nice.

I don’t recommend these for those that like to chew on ice.

Adding ice is a preference thing of course but water is already added to give the distiller preference hence 80 proof higher water versus 100 proof. Whiskey is usually around 150 proof straight. So it is always watered down someway. One issue with ice or cubes is the whiskey oils separate from the water and can effect taste. One way isn't better but I like Neat myself but occasionally like the cubes. Prefer Bourbons over scotches these days. Bourbon is about the only thing america can be truly proud of. haha Of course to each his own.

Unfortunately Gamiss is a china based site so I do not trust it. Tempted but I do not like obscure sites as I get phone spam or email spam from them sometimes.
