Synology, Qnap and Thecus all make very good stuff. I'm a Synology guy, but Qnap is just as good (and in some ways better). Synology is designed to go in your closet, while Qnap is designed to connect to your entertainment system and serve as a media player. Both are excellent storage devices.

Great deal for great NAS. Buying from is better in my opinion. Well maybe b/c I don't get taxed ordering from versus And shipping is pretty fast, for being free. :)

Diskless? Looks like it needs 2 drives to run. Putting 2 4TB drives in it will make it fly.
