Keep in mind that you don't need a high spec phone or tablet to use this. You can pick up an old Android (even as old as ancient version 1.5) phone for $5, or free if someone is throwing it away and just have that be the dedicated head unit/display for this. The phone doesn't need an active cellular plan to use it with this.
