^ lol, how many years has it been now?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this was one employee in one particular store and after the years have gone by, may not even be working there any longer.

I'm just sayin', most of us wouldn't be going to the one in Holyoke, MA, but if you can't get over the event then there's either therapy or revenge.

I am simply providing information on my experience with Best Buy. I have never received an apology from Best Buy. I am owed one!

Sincerely,

Interesting toddsucks2. Although I want to empathize with you, we know nothing about the situation that lead to you being called a jerk. I never put any credibility into a one-sided account of an event no matter the outcome. We know nothing about the manager's perspective. I see people making decisions in business and in their personal lives having only a snippet of the information relevant to the decision-making process. This type of thinking and decision-making typically leads to less-than-desirable outcomes to say the very least. It takes multiple perspectives to make decisions and to grow as human beings. Leading a single-perspective life will get humans nowhere despite the fact that many do just that, but are in misery due to their narrow-minded views and inability to open their minds to different approaches and information in general.

Coming back to your experience, I have worked in public service positions and many people are rude and expect the world served to them on a silver platter. The human condition is worrisome overall. Despite that, I can see how a store manager could reach their breaking point and act unprofessionally from time to time. Think about the number of people they interact with daily who simply don't care. The manager likely reached his breaking point with you regardless of whether you warranted being called a jerk or not. After all, he, too, is only human. We are all in this together, and regardless of whether the gentleman was a store manager, government official, teacher, healthcare aid, minister, etc., everyone has their limits. As such, perhaps you were simply the last straw on the day you were called a jerk -- assuming you were in the first place as we have no other input on the matter.

So, I must ask, why was it you were allegedly called a jerk?
