Agree except they do have the 8TB external WD Easystore on sale for $160 again. Got 5 last time for my NAS (3 in store and 2 online because they wouldnt allow more than 3 to be purchased) because they have the WD Red inside.

Are you taking the drives apart or connecting them via USB to your NAS?
Taking them apart. I have a Synology 1512+ for my NAS. There are guides online to get them apart without damaging (I damaged 1 clip out of the 5 drives I got so 1 out of 20 clips isnt bad) the case. Plus you can use another drive in the case rather than the WD Red that was in it!
