    With all these sales, it's likely Apple is trying to get inventory out of the retail channels to make way for new models as the previous were speed bumps.

    I cannot buy a new Mac yet. Mine from 2011 is till solid. Even the battery can still hold almost 4 hours with normal, movie-less, jobs.
