Had a poor experience with customer support trying to get the dell xps 13 that was on sale here the other day also through Dell. Because they categorized my order as "small to medium business" for reasons unknown to me, after I waited an hour to talk to someone on their chat service they couldn't answer my questions since I wasn't a "home" consumer (even though I am). My only question was when it would be shipped as the estimated shipping date had passed. Then I waited half an hour to get someone on the phone (with a 15 minute wait) and at half an hour their lines closed. So today I went through a series of numbers to just cancel this order after reading numerous recent bad things regarding their customer service. I plan to only order my next laptop through an established retailer now.
