I was looking at the Surface pro2, and instead decided to go with this one. It's more expensive, but has a faster CPU and the power keyboard is included. The keyboard dock also has a stiff hinge, making it more laptop-like when docked. I guess it might be a better option for those seeking an ultrabook that can act as a tablet, rather than a tablet with the power of an ultrabook.
On the down side, it does not offer a 512GB option, the tablet portion does not have a kick stand, and tablet folio cases are harder to find, since it's less popular than surface. It's also missing an SD card slot.
I have one. Really like it! Wish it had an SD slot though! How could they miss that!? They do have two USB 3.0 ports on the keyboard.. I put some 64Gb micro flash drives in them.. Seems to work well.

There's a Helix2 out now.
Thank you!
