Not a bad price, but be aware that many motherboards won't recognize this memory (because of the ECC).

Sure enough! Things have changed since the Socket AM2 days, last time I built a system. ;) Those chips had ECC support on-die, and the first mobo I looked into supported it.

In the Intel world, you need to go Xeon to support ECC RAM.
