I just got the Burning Studio and installed it. It is full version software but they do everything they can to upsell you. And I'm sure once they have your email (which is required to get your key) they're going to spam you with offers in the future.

Photo commander and Snap 7 are definitely worth the download if you don't have better options already.

Free is good, but like Coral Aftershock Pro that was free last year, it constantly wants me to upgrade for $$. still a good program. If you dont care about nuisance upgrades, its a good program and lets face it Free is Free. well almost free, you get some ads :)

IMHO ImgBurn is an excellent burning software option which has always been free and is very popular. Opt for the custom install so you don't install any additon software during installation. Also Imgburn never has popups for money or tries to sell you something.

ImageBurn is a wonderful burning program, and has always been free. I have used it for many years, and I have yet to have a single toaster!
I use the portable version, no installation needed.

Ashampoo has been there for a very long time, but "A Shampoo" is the generic name for a liquid we buy to wash our hair!

If Ashampoo changes their name to a more professional-sounding name, most likely they would be selling more of their products, and they wouldn't be in need to give their product away for free.

I am not installing a shampoo stuff on my computer, unless it's a dandruff fighter too, and comes with "a conditioner" built-in :)

Just my 2-cents.

Would you please elaborate?
Why do you think so?
I would rely on your detailed opinion much more than the vendor's claims.

I just installed snap 7 as a long time user of snap 6. Looks like full version.
I also installed burning studio 2015 which is a crippled version of burning studio 15
Looked like about $20 for the upgrade.

I want to chime in on imgburn. I love it also. As sh10453 wrote, be careful and do the custom install so you do not get junk with it. I will try the portable version.

I've used Burning Studio for years. Great program. If you don't want emails, just go to their site and unsubscribe.
