I have two of these and like them very much. Mostly used for Netflix, Spotify, and Pandora, but the biggest reason I like it is because I can rip DVDs into VOB files, store them on my NAS, and this thing plays them with no issues...I had a hard time finding a standalone media player that can play VOB files...even the other versions WD media players, like WD TV Play doesn't play VOB files.

Been using these for a long time. Good for playing a collection of video files like DVDs ripped into almost any format.

Got two also. I take one with me on road trips. Load up kid's movies on a USB stick and plug the unit into my car's AV input. Very easy to use and super convenient.

Replimarket, this is very similar to Roku's. However, this unit plays pretty much any type of video or audio file out there. It will also browse SMB shares so you can easily play files from a NAS or a Windows or Linux file server. It is super convenient. Not sure if the Rokus can do all that.
