Yep. Going under soon. Their tools used to keep them afloat but now that is all outsourced and no different than harbor freight. Appliances break soon after buying. No quality anymore.
Harbor Freight's tools are two notches below Sears, not even close.

Their appliances are simply re-branded other manufacturer flavor of the month. So that has nothing to do with Sears.
And for regular use, their Chinese tools are still many steps above HF. And yes, I am a HF customer as well.
They closed a huge store in Lexington KY that was doing fine. Word was someone offered them a ton of money for the property and in fact that is why the new owner bought all that stock so cheap was because the property (including brand) was worth more than what he paid and he was going to just sell it off when the time was right. Just a rumor.
It's the start of fire season in Colorado. Time to think about how many sprinklers to place on the roof and how many hoses and nozzles to preposition on the lawn.
