Have used one of these for about a month now...great alternative to the disposable ones...you can select your own coffee and have it freshly ground before brewing, and keep the plastic disposables out of the landfill. Cheaper in the long run as well.

I have not checked, but are you certain that the plastic used in k-cups is not biodegradable?
