Our Black Friday Hub is live, and we've just added the highly anticipated Walmart ad scan! The sale will begin 6PM Thanksgiving, but I'd expect to see sale prices show up online earlier that week.
Walmart already kind of kicked off the season with a big clearance sale last month, and really, that's where they are hands-down the best when it comes to cheap sale prices. This Black Friday ad is not bad, but my guess is a lot of their best deals this month won't necessarily be advertised ahead of time.
One thing to note is that this year they're advertising a lot of "Special Buys", with no retail price listed. This is a bit of a red flag for me, because some of these things may be lower quality items they ordered just to use as Black Friday specials. Without knowing all the model numbers, it's hard to say!
Anyway, enough rambling! Here are some deals from the ad that are worth taking note of:
Check out our Black Friday hub for all the big Black Friday store ads. Note that some of the sales begin online as early as Monday!
1 week to go!
Heads up: we just added the Home Depot and Newegg ad scans to our Black Friday Hub!
Home Depot's sale begins online Thanksgiving Day at 3AM PT, with the in-store sale starting Friday morning at 6AM. As usual, they have lots of sales on holiday decor ($0.99 poinsettias, baby!), tools, and appliances. A couple deals that stood out to me:
Our Black Friday Hub is live, and we've just added the Best Buy, Macys, and Staples ad scans!
Best Buy decided to basically start Black Friday today with a ton of early access deals today. The actual Black Friday sale will begin at 5PM on Thanksgiving, with additional Doorbusters added Friday and again on Saturday.
Macys will run their sale online all day Thanksgiving, with the in-store sale starting at 5PM. Looks like they are trying something new this year, with many of their Doorbusters being "free after rebate".
Staples will also run their online sale all day Thanksgiving, and doors will open for their in-store sale at 7AM Friday. Nothing super exciting in the ad, but there are some nice prices on lower-end laptops if you're in the market for one.
We have Target, Dell, Kohls and more already up on the Hub. Still waiting on a few of the big ad scans, like Walmart. We'll let you know as soon as it drops!
