I bought this when it was $45 a few days ago. It is an ok device.

The UI is easy enough to use and move around. I've played a few games from Play Store. When I tested "Crossy Road", the picture looked great. Even the controls where decently responsive with the stock remote.

I also tried casting from my phone. Used a few 4K files and the picture was crystal clear. It can take a few seconds to load though, not instantaneous.

It is a fun little toy and is good for the few of us that have 4K "dumb" TVs.

I got tired of these cheap Chinese boxes that die after 6 months and have no warranty or support so spent more and got a Shield. Wish I had done it in the first place. Yes they work ok in the beginning and some have no trouble with them. Lucky them! Which will you be?
