Nice for no Rebate. this time. but It hard to be hot on this when GTX 1660's like a EVGA XC GAMING another 3-Slot single but single fan type is 6-8% faster, while the power is like more than half... IDK as a long term thing, it's hard to condider an RX 590 for similar money. Normally I don't care much on power; the cost of paying more for a Nvidia would off-set any 25-35% more in power over 2-1/2 years, but here that's not a deliberation anymore! AMD... Navi has to be able to step-up the game and can't come quick enough.
Just a follow up to what said above. The GTX 1660 power under gaming is similar to the GTX 1060 6Gb. Working Outervision.com PSU calculator; working up a 2600X with 16Gb, an SSD, HDD, DVD combo, WLAN card, a couple of 120mm fans along with a AIO 120mm cooler run with a Gold + PSU while gaming 4 hr/day using a .14 cents kWh.
A GTX 1660 costs $98.60 while RX 590 cost $111.58 per year, or a "dollar and change" more a month. When this was between the GTX 1060 and RX590 the performance difference showed how a trifling a dollar a month was, now with a GTX 1660 6-8% improved it's a new consideration. That said the 3 Games help off-set how many years of electrical bills?
