No one is going to take solace in this next though or advice. You do not need a Xbox Series X or a PS5. The launch titles are not that good for either. PS5 is the strongest. Miles Morales is just like Spiderman DLC. Godfall is a typical launch title (not that good). The only real positives to me are that games load faster. People are getting caught up in a need, need, need it. I know it is hard but do not get duped into paying more than retail from scalpers.
I disagree. The XSX is a great experience coming from the original xbox one: way faster with almost no load times, much better graphic fidelity especially with 4k optimized games, and it will be supported for at least 10 years. Might as well get it. You won't regret it.
Got one of these and then it went OOS, but 45 min later it was back in stock. Just keep checking and you'll get one. Also to the guy saying you don't need this... Halo Infinite is coming soon, need I say more?
I think I am being misunderstood. You do not need this right now. Right now. If you can wait to get it at retail then yes. Do not succumb to the scalpers. If you can wait until January or February you will be able to walk into a store and get one. Right now you can play all your games on your eighth gen. It is not worth paying over MSRP to get a ninth generation right now when you will be able to get one for MSRP in two three months. It is not worth it.
