I haven't had much luck with drives specifically named for NAS. It's been the same across the board with Seagate, WD etc. I don't know why, but inevitably one in the RAID 5 will crash.

I bought 8 3tb WD RED in 2013. All running fine after 6 years and being up 24x7. Its the only drive I will put in my NAS.
