There is only a rear brake, no front brake. The distance for a very slim person on a flat surface is only 18 miles. The battery ( 48 V, 7.5 Ah) is non-removeable. It is a toy, somewhat unsafe toy, not a serious bike.

^ What do you consider a "serious" bike at the $500 price point, that can fold up so small? I'm sure there's something direct from China, but I'd expect you can far more easily return things to Costco.

Something with 2 brakes and removable battery, at the very least. I'm sure that this similar to Bolt bike would allow you to ride for at least an hour around your RV on a beach, but you should not take it on a trip to the store on a hilly road. The lack of a front brake is the most important safety feature omitted. I would rather have no rear brake, but a reliable front brake is a must.

Strangely, while the video and some images do not show a front brake, there are other places that both state and show one. It is very odd that there wouldn't be a front brake on anything that didn't have a rudimentary rear coaster brake. Although it lacks a removable battery, there 'are' some nice features, like the lights (a rear brake light) and integrated rear rack. Still a little pricey, though, and easy to see why they're trying to unload them. If it were half the price, I'd jump, but not for $500.

The value of such a tiny mock rear rack is questionable. You cannot put panniers on that rack and you cannot place on it any meaningful load. Years ago, I purchased a decent rear rack for my Bolt on

for about $15. If the bike had a front brake and a removable battery, $500 for it would be very adequate. Though, I have to warn that the handlebar of this bike appears to be quite short. It is common for the foldable bikes, but usually it's not a pleasure to ride.

The single rear brake does not provide a quick and complete stop.

Battery is not changeable and headlight is not adjustable for this E-bike. Too bad
