IMPORTANT: This projector puts out ONLY 423 LUMENS.
While Vankyo advertises the V630 brightness as 6,500 LUX, this is deceiving, because the industry standard for measuring brightness is lumens, not LUX.
It's actually more complicated than that as it's a function of distance and area as well.
That said: I have the V600 which I picked up for a steal off Woot... it's not as bright as the V630 but I find that as the sun goes down, with a quality screen it's more than bright enough for a 200' (16' wide) image. It looks spectacular, so the V630 would only be better. So manage your ambient light and don't get a crappy screen, and you should be fine.
