Surface laptop 2 is nice, but still overpriced for the older hardware that you get. The new 10th Gen Intel mobile is legit. You can get a much more powerful laptop from Dell for much cheaper than a Surface (and HP usually)

The pricing is hard to compare to the "Employee Purchase Pricing" programs. It always seems like the models in those EPP deals are slightly different than the retail models making them difficult to compare.

I just ordered a customized 2-1 Envy. With the exact same specs as a model BB sells. For about 100 dollars more. Why? HP has a cheaper extended warranty than BB. And they rebate the warranty cost if not used. No one else does this. The Envy stacks up pretty well vs. the XPS and, with similar specs, is much cheaper. HP is also ranked #1 overall in the industry, with Asus and Lenovo at 2 and 3.
