i didn't even know such a thing existed until i saw it here. i read the reviews and pulled the trigger. this thing actually works. after scrubbing my toilets with pumice stone, lime/calcium rings would form at the water line just after a week. the scalewatcher has prevented the ring from forming. faucet fixtures and shower door look much better. i'm glad it got it at half price. thanks bens
