It's $300 for the year plus tax and fees after which the total for a year will be like $9000. Then the rate will go u to $125 per month plus tax and fees.
The Hello Mobile deal sounds pretty good. I hate T-Mobile, am on Sprint now, if the merger goes through, I will be outta there. I've been looking for an escape hatch, sounds like Hello Mobile might just be what I'm looking for. If I can get 15 gigs on hotspot, that will be more than enough for me.
mintsim has 8gb for $60 6 months pay 3 monts plus 3 months free then its $20 month but you pay in advance,it uses t mobile ,but if you go overseas you don't get any signal and data costs $1500 so useless if you travel
I use freedompop. I paid $150 for the first year and $118 for the second year. Unlimeted talk and text, 5 GB a month. I never use that much. $90 used flagship on a few years ago.
I've used Cricket for 4-5 years now, that is AT&T's prepaid wireless service where I live. The coverage is identical to Verizon and I pay $100/mo for 5 lines with 5gb data per line per month. If I ever switch anything I have to go to 4 lines unlimited for $100/mo. but for now I can keep my plan (unlike the "if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor" lie)

Was with AT&T for 15 years, never coming back. Switch to T-Mobile with everything unlimited + international roaming for $40/line, could not be happier!
If you are already with AT&T postpaid mo-to-mo (not a contract), this is how you can switch to this plan. Go into a store and have your number(s) switched to a prepaid MONTHLY account, but do not add any funds to the account. Then call AT&T prepaid, and have them change your monthly prepaid account over to this annual account. I did this successfully with two lines, this even worked with unified billing, which is not supposed to work until you de-unify the billing, which takes 2 months, and by then this plan wouldn't have been available. There has never been a plan this cheap by a major carrier. I switched about a week ago, and there is no difference at all in speed, coverage, etc. between my old post-paid and the new pre-paid plan.
