I ordered 2 pair of glasses last November with a code that supposedly let you buy 2 pairs of glasses and you would get a 3rd free. When I tried to add the code to my cart it still charged me an exorbitant amount for each pair (I could get a pair locally at Costco for less). I called and asked a woman about it and she told me it was a free eyeglass holder not a pair of glasses. I opaid for 2 and then waited. In late December the glasses were in my mailbox. When I opened the box, one pair was completely destroyed, pieces everywhere including the titanium frames. The outer box had no damage. The other pair had a chip in the lens, also unusable. I took a picture and sent it to the company immediately (less than 2 days). I called in February and asked where the replacements were. A woman said she can see replacements were ordered and that "they" would contact me directly and she had nothing to do with anything else. She said "they" would send me a tracking number and she put a message in for "them" to call me. As I am writing this (April 3, 2018), I haven't received any replacements, a call, a refund, an email.
There's A LOT of caveats with this deal. 1. Not all of the frames are eligible. 2. Almost all of the frames have a $8.95 "processing fee" (even on the free pair) 3. The post description is dead-on with the upgrades. They try to make it confusing so you'll auto-add extras. 4. The cheapest shipping option I found was $4.95 (paying via )
I don't know which frames OP found at $15 with no fee and eligible for the code.
After 30 minutes I gave up trying to find 2 frames that did not have the "processing fee" ( I ultimately only found one and just ordered 2 of the same pair out of frustration). $34.90 in total. Still not a bad price for 2 pairs of prescription glasses.
