How are these better than the 4 bpa free containers with lids for $1 in my local dollar store? I looked on the Groupon site for more details and was surprised they were sold out.after 8 hrs. What if you don't need 120 pieces? I suppose I could do more online searching but it's not worth it for my situation.
^ No driving to the store, no sales tax, and possibly a greater assortment of sizes.
I already have lots of containers like this but would jump on this if I didn't because I freeze a lot of home grown tomatoes. The side benefit is that leaves less empty air in the freezer so it runs more efficiently and if there's a power outage they serve as blocks of ice to keep everything cold for days, plus I can then easily avoid the BPA's from canned tomatoes.
