Speaking of pets and their secret lives, I recently was trying to track down why my electricity bill was lower than usual and saw that someone had installed solar panels on the backside of my roof. Based on the number of panels I was curious as to why the bill wasn't even lower, and looked around the house for anything unusual. I went into a bedroom that I use for storage and discovered that my cats had built a blockchain machine farm. It wasn't too large so wasn't using up the surplus power from the solar panels. I noticed some trash bags in the closet and opened them to find them stuffed with dried catnip. It turns out that the cats had used the proceeds from the blockchain farm to start a small illegal catnip grow in a house they'd rented down the street. I can't believe that they had cut me out of the deal, the sneaky bastages.
