This book is a really interesting read. it was written in the time of and in reaction to the Vietnam war, but is depressingly just as relevant today with our ongoing wars in the Middle East. Further it touches on a lot of social issues that are I think even more relevant today. I think these would be considered more liberal and less conservative themes and I'd like to think that Ben's audience is more educated and thus less conservative, but given the recent election that's probably hoping to much.
