There is no 5 Series "65R517," although there is the 5 Series 65S517 model.
The "65R517" appears to be a mistake. Lower down in the listing, you'll see this as the "E9TCL65R617," designating the 65R617 with extended warranty. It's a listing BuyDig/Beach Camera have on other their own sites and through 3rd party sellers.
Thanks, Sharik - my concern is if the mistake went the other way it could be the 65R517, or the overseas 65S517 (https://tvcomparison.net/tcl-65r617-vs-65s517-whats-their-key-difference). I see where it lists it as the 65R617 further in the description - thanks for pointing that out. I reached out to Buydig, but have not received a response yet.
"This item is the 65R517. We will make a revision on our listing."
That's still not making a lot of sense so I contacted TCL. As you mention - there is no such model so my concern is that its a gray market item. The UPC lines up with the 617, but the Dig response and part of the listing refer to it as a 517. TCL says if it ends in 7, its intended for but if its a 5 is a Best Buy item. I assumed the vendor would know what they are selling.

BuyDig changed their tune again (too late though, the 15% is over):
Thank you for contacting us.
Unfortunately, this is an error in our listing in which we have fixed this and should be updating soon. However, this item is the 6-series (65R617).
Sincere apologies.
Thank you!
